What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineering Technician III position at Loudoun County Government?
• Reviewing and processing Individual Lot Grading Plans in addition to Wall Check Surveys, ensuring their timely reviews and serving as the primary contact in the Department for these applications.
• Performing site inspections to verify conformance with approved engineering plans, studies, etc. in accordance with the County’s performance bonding requirements.
• Work closely with the Virginia Department of Transportation, Homeowner’s Associations, and industry representatives to facilitate the release and transfer of maintenance responsibilities for roads and associated stormwater infrastructure.
• Serving as point of contact and overall Project Manager for the processing of performance bond release/reduction requests. Coordinating directly with internal and external agencies, applicants and owners to resolve construction deficiencies which would prevent the release or reduction of associated performance bonds.
• Facilitating transparent government operations by updating project records and databases completely and accurately.
• Providing good customer service by responding to citizen inquiries regarding procedures, regulations, application status, and other relevant data available to the Department.
