LCPL provides free and equal access to a variety of library resources, programs and innovative technologies to enhance the quality of life and meet the entire community's informational, educational, and cultural interests.
Job Summary
The Visual Communications Coordinator is responsible for LCPL's look and feel. This position develops and implements consistent branding standards across a system of 10 branches and provides tools and training for staff to produce cohesive branded materials. As the lead designer, the Visual Communications Coordinator also creates print and digital marketing materials, including interior and exterior signage, promotional products and social media content. Specific key responsibilities include :
1. Develop and maintain LCPL's branding standards, public-facing and internal :
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all brand / logo-related needs.
- Provide branded templates for staff to use as needed.

Candidates will be expected to show samples of their portfolios and will be given an assignment.
Work schedule is typically Monday through Friday daytime, but occasional night, weekend and holiday work is required. Software platforms are subject to change.
Hiring salary is commensurate with experience.
Minimum Qualifications
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field and two (2) years of related work experience. Previous work in Graphic Design strongly preferred. Other preferred qualifications include :
