Overview:
LG&CC is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Golf Professional/Outside Service Supervisor to join our team. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with our professional staff and manage the outside service team to ensure a smooth, efficient, and exceptional golf experience for all members and guests. This role involves both weekdays and weekends, with an emphasis on high-quality service and organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a welcoming, friendly, and professional experience for members and guests upon arrival and departure.
- Recognize members and guests by name, anticipating needs and proactively assisting in a timely manner.
- Oversee and manage the golf car fleet, ensuring that carts are staged, cleaned, and fully stocked with necessary supplies each day.
- Manage the practice facility by setting up, closing, and performing daily checks.
- Maintain organized member club and cart storage, ensuring cleanliness and accurate records are kept on a monthly basis.
- Supervise and train outside service staff, ensuring all team members are well-equipped to deliver excellent service.
- Assist the Professional Staff with tournament setup, preparation, and other operational needs.
- Ability to lift golf bags and other supplies (up to 40 pounds).
Qualifications:
- Enthusiastic, professional, and polished demeanor with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous golf industry experience is preferred but not required. Associate Golf Professionals and PGM Interns are welcome to apply.
- Background in high-end customer service, communications, and organizational skills is a plus.
