The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) evaluates and treats individuals with communication and swallowing disorders, developing personalized therapy plans to enhance speech, language, and cognitive communication skills. They work closely with patients to improve their ability to communicate effectively and safely ingest food and liquids.
The Speech-Language Pathologist must have :
- Graduated from an accredited Speech Therapist college or university
- Valid license and registration for the state of VA
- Experience with long-term care preferred
