This role will play a critical leadership function in ensuring the successful execution of Loudoun United FC matches and special events at Segra Field. Loudoun United FC & Segra Field are seeking a proactive and experienced Operations Manager to oversee and enhance all aspects of stadium and event operations. This role will play a critical leadership function in ensuring the successful execution of Loudoun United FC matches and special events at Segra Field. The Operations Manager will be responsible for event planning, staff management, operational logistics, and vendor coordination, contributing to a first-class experience for fans, partners, and stakeholders.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead the hiring, training, scheduling, and management of all part-time and event staff at Segra Field for Loudoun United matches and special events (e.g., sporting events, festivals, live shows, holiday parties).
- Mentor, supervise, develop, and coach event staff in a manner that maintains morale, skills, proficiency, and productivity
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of Segra Field, including stadium setup, maintenance, facility upkeep, concessions, and merchandise operations.
- Develop and manage detailed gameday and event timelines, ensuring seamless execution of matchday operations.
- Serve as the on-site lead for event setup, breakdown, vendor coordination, and operational logistics.
- Lead Segra Field food and beverage operations, including negotiations, vendor sourcing, ordering, and tracking
- Direct USL matchday setup and duties including matchday reports, timelines, and setup (field boards, 4th officials table, public address system, etc.)
- Lead operational/event setup of all additional special events
- Continuously evaluate and enhance operational efficiency, identifying opportunities for process improvements and innovation.
- Collaborate with internal departments, external vendors, and key stakeholders to ensure alignment on operational needs and expectations.
- Bachelor's degree in sports management, business administration, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 2 years of experience in stadium, event, or facility operations, preferably in a sports or entertainment setting.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in managing event staff, vendors, and operational processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick, effective decisions in high-pressure environments.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and make sound decisions quickly
- Excellent time management, organization and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays
