What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Certified Surgical Tech position at Louis A Weiss Memorial Medical Center, LLC?

Provides scrub, assisting, turnover and stocking for surgical procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. High School diploma or equivalent
2. Graduate of accredited program of surgical technology
3. Certification as Surgical Technologist (CST) by Association of Surgical Technologists (AST) or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT). Upon hire, if incumbent has graduated an approved Surgical Technologist program, but has not received their certification; certification must be obtained within six (6) months of hire.
4. CPR Certification
5. At least 1 year of OR experience required
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
7. Knowledge of medical terminology
8. Ability to work independently as well as function effectively as a team member
9. Proven ability to change priorities in a fast-paced environment
10. Ability to take call on evenings/weekends/holidays
