LBS is seeking a full-time LOGCAP - Fuel Accountant (USN) in Marshall Islands.
Your Impact
- Responsible for the accounting and inventory management of all receipt, storage, internal handling, and shipment of petroleum products
- Responsible for all accounting functions needed for proper inventory management, to include ordering product receipts, inputting all fuel movements, tracking tank inventories and maintaining a ledger for government reporting.
- Prepare and submit reports or other verifying documentation as required for both local contract requirements and LBS requirements.
- Understands and abides by the standards set forth for ethical behavior and integrity as detailed in the Code of Business Conduct.
- Performs all other duties prescribed by management.
Required Qualifications
- Physically relocate to the US Marshall Islands for an anticipated period of one year. (Relocation assistance provided by the Company)
- Knowledge of FMD9 and BSME systems
- Be experienced in the accounting and inventory requirements of DoD 4140.25M.
- Fluent English reading and writing skills to be able to read and understand government guidance for day to day work requirements.
- Must have basic computer skills including the ability to use Microsoft office suite software package.
- Must be able to accurately document work progress and report repair status.
- Must be able to pass the required background checks for the position through the military and civilian systems.
- The ability to obtain a government Common Access Card (CAC).
- Successful completion of the current Base-Level Defense Fuels Management Course (on-line).
- Successful completion of the FMD9 Accounting Computer Based Training (CBT) and register for a formal course. Note that the course does not have to be completed at the end of the first six months to maintain the role, but course reservation must be firm.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a Marshall Islands Driver’s License
