The Logistics Coordinator will report to the Subcontracting Field Managers but will communicate with Project Managers, Project Engineers, Superintendents, and Foremen. This dynamic role will be essential in developing and streamlining operations to become more efficient.
What you get to own :
Your day will start at our Burlingame warehouse, where you'll ensure trucks are stocked and ready to go. From there, you'll be an essential part of our construction team by :
- Coordinating and delivering materials and supplies to job sites across the Bay Area on time.
- Working closely with Field Managers, Superintendents, and Foremen to track and manage material needs.
- Maintaining and organizing the company's Hilti On Track database of tools and equipment. We will train you on this software.
- Overseeing the company's Tool Program, ensuring tools are in top shape and ready to use.
- Tracking and managing inventory during job site mobilization and demobilization.
- Developing strong relationships with vendors to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
- Delivering safety presentations at job sites as needed.
- Keeping workspaces and storage areas clean and organized.
- Performing minor tool repairs and ensuring repair parts are stocked.
- Looking for ways to improve efficiency, organization, and processes.
