We are looking for a detail-oriented, friendly individual to help with a wide range of admin tasks, including inventory management, receiving, shop keeping, retail display upkeep and light bookkeeping. This position would also include helping customers in store and by phone with simple tech support problems and sales of some A/V electronics and accessories. Successful associate will have a general understanding of or interest in technology. Responsibilities
- Provide admin support to owners and sales team
- Interface with customers in person and by phone
- Welcome customers to the store and answer their queries
- Help with inventory receiving, displays and pricing
- Customer and inventory database management
- Process point of sale purchases
- Create and help organize proper documentation throughout sales/installation process
- Write grammatically correct emails
- Help develop and simplify processes for the better success of the business
Skills
- Basic understanding of office management principles, sales principles and customer service practices
- Proficiency in English and professional appearance
- Familiarity with inventory procedures
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Evolved workplace emotional intelligence
- A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus
- High school degree; other degrees or certifications a plus
