Location: Louisburg, KS
Schedule: Shifts scheduled between 7am and 6:30 p.m. Monday-Sunday; hours during Fall busy season may be extended
The Retail Associate Lead (Country Store Lead) is a retail associate responsible for opening or closing the store. During the shift, they are leading the store operations and are responsible for ensuring the daily operation of the Country Store aligns with our full scope of operating guidelines.
Retails Associate Lead Responsibilities:
- Open and/or Close the store according to the Opening and Closing Guidelines
- Provide leadership (through your actions and verbal communication) to the Retail Associates on your shift for all things related to store operations (Customer Service, Stocking, Cashiering, etc.)
- Coordinate with GM and/or RA (Retail Administrator) for daily/weekly priorities
- Make decisions about Donut Production to ensure that there is never a time when the Country Store is out of donuts; be prepared to have to make donuts on any given shift
- Ensure that all Retail Associates are in compliance with the dress code
- Lead the team’s focus on Customer Service by providing it to any and all customers at every turn
- Provide guidance for any transactional issues; ie. Change needed for register, transaction cancellation requirements, refund issues, credit card machine issues, returns, etc.
- Determine if there are circumstances (weather, otherwise) that require sending scheduled staff home early from shift; Ideally, we would make this determination before they come in for shift
Retail Associate Lead Requirements:
- Effective interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division
- Ability to perform cash register functions
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures
- Frequent walking, standing, lifting kneeling for stocking merchandise.
- Frequent and proper lifting up to 50 pounds
- Occasional climbing a ladder
- Fast passed environment and exposure to outside weather condition
- Ability to work some weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work 6 days a week in the Fall season
