What are the responsibilities and job description for the Portfolio Property Manager position at Louise Beck Properties, inc?
This position is in our Property Management department, which handles the maintenance and turnover for our properties. The position is for an in-office staff member to organize and manage work requests from initial report until completion. Our clients are the property owners for whom we manage our rental properties. You will become familiar with your portfolios, which refers to your assigned clients and the properties that they own. You will be responsible (with plenty of support from your co-workers!) for all maintenance of your properties. You will also be responsible to handle client inquiries and requests regarding maintenance for your properties. The majority of your work will be self-directed, but always operating within a close-knit and cooperative team.
Primary duties include:
Creating work orders from tenant requests, inspection reports, or owner requests
Managing repair projects from start to finish
Tracking and updating property information in our database system
Reviewing invoices submitted by vendors for completed work
Uploading, naming, and filing photos/documents
Miscellaneous occasional duties such as testing keys at properties, other office work
Required skills include:
Advanced technical skill level, including and especially for email account management, management software, and operating within Windows.
Polite and effective high-level email and phone skills for communication with owners, vendors, and tenants
Organized approach to managing complex projects
Detail-oriented for accurate data entry
Reliable vehicle a must! Must also be responsible, reliable, and able to change tasks and transition between duties quickly as assigned.
