POSITION: PROPERTY MANAGER
We are seeking an experienced and energetic property manager to join our team.
The Property Manager will directly supervise the leasing and operations and maintenance teams. The Property Manager must be a strong leader who can effectively manage and coordinate people, activities and available resources in order to maximize the successful operation of the property. Ensures the operations of the property complies with the policies and procedures, Fair Housing and other applicable laws and regulations governing our operations.
What You'll Do:
Initiates and manages all core business processes, including leasing, resident and vendor relations, maintenance, while adhering to all applicable affordable housing program requirements, and team development
Monitor, maintain and control property expenses
Accurate and on-time submission of all reports
Inspect all aspects of the property for minimum physical standards including common areas, buildings and units.
Direct and coordinate with Maintenance staff and outside vendors to ensure property is maintained above minimum standards
Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local requirements applicable to property
Maintain proper records for all applicable programs to property
Supervisory skills sufficient to hire, lead, direct and evaluate on-site team members
Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively
Ability to interact professionally with residents, vendors, contractors and clients
Ensures site curb appeal and community is maintained in a profession condition
Skills Required:
Knowledge and 5 years of experience in Affordable Housing property management
Ability to clearly and effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
Have a positive attitude and keep a solution-based and customer-focused mindset at all times
Maintain high legal/ethical standards in all work related decisions
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
