What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Worker position at Louisiana College?
Purpose:
Perform basic maintenance, including but not limited to, plumbing, electrical, painting and pressure washing projects.
Essential functions:
Demonstrate care and concern for students and faculty through excellence in service ticket resolution and preventative maintenance.
Resolve maintenance issues in the area of electrical, plumbing and appliance repair.
Prepare vacant apartments for move-in through turn-over repairs and improvements.
Preserve the beauty of the building and the safety of the community through general upkeep and cleanliness.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide residents with outstanding customer service.
On call for after hour emergencies.
Perform any and all other duties assigned.
