Campus Student Ambassador
This position is designed to develop and strengthen skills related to employment in a professional environment.
The incumbent will provide day-to-day administrative and office support for the assigned department, while communicating effectively with students and others via telephone, email, and in face-to-face settings.
Responsibilities include providing outstanding service to students and other internal and external customers, completing a diverse set of tasks designed to develop knowledge and skills, and working independently within a team on special and ongoing projects.
Federal Work Study Experience Learning Outcomes include gaining knowledge of personal characteristics and behavior necessary to serve as an employee in any work environment, understanding processes involved in securing and retaining employment, and developing customer service and other transferrable work skills.
This is an entry level position designed to assist students in developing and strengthening skills related to employment. Passing pre-employment criminal background screen is required as a condition of employment.
