Master's degree in a physical science (i.e. chemistry, climatology, earth science, geology,
geophysics, hydrology, petrology, physics, meteorology, oceanography) or a master's degree and 18 graduate semester hours in a physical science or applied physical science (i.e. engineering).
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in a physical science

Part-time Adjunct Faculty members are responsible for teaching courses as assigned and promotion of a collegial atmosphere. Adjunct Faculty are expected to support the institution's mission and vision and abide by the Faculty Handbook and college-wide policies. Adjunct Faculty report directly to the department chair within their respective departments and divisions.
The Department of Sciences seeks adjunct instructors to teach Physical Science courses.
Adjunct instructors are hired by the department, the Division of Science, Technology,
Engineering, and Mathematics, and Baton Rouge Community College on a term-by-term basis as needed.
