Minimum Qualifications

  • Shall be credentialed and in good standing by relative credentialing agencies, if appropriate.
  • Shall be qualified to teach in field of study.
  • Shall be effective in teaching the assigned subject material.
  • Shall meet the required standards defined by the University.
  • Shall be proficient in curriculum development, instruction, evaluation and academic counseling.
  • Shall have a minimum of 2 years' experience or equivalent in the practice of area of study, or as required by accreditation agencies.
  • Shall possess a terminal degree in Art or Photography.

  • Serve as an advisor and mentor for students in the Department of Fine and Graphic Arts
  • Represents school in professional manner in all activities
  • Engage in professional service
  • Actively participates in departmental recruiting
