Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum one year experience in equipment operations
- Must be certified by Athletic Equipment Manager's Association (AEMA) or qualified to become certified within one year of employment
- Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
- Excellent organization and communication skills as well as comprehensive computer skills including Microsoft products and Network internet
- Oversee and coordinate all aspects of athletic equipment room operations for all 14 varsity programs
- Recruit, hire, train, and have oversight and guidance of graduate assistant(s) and student equipment manager(s)
- Assist in operations with respect to facility and game-day operations for football
- Directing all laundry operations including purchasing laundry products and working with vendors
- Work with Head Football Coach in researching, choosing, ordering, inventory, and properly maintaining all helmets, apparel, and gear. Provide fittings and adjustments of equipment for individual players
- Leads football and assists all programs in procuring equipment, shoes, and apparel with NSU's official athletic outfitter
- Directs inventory controls and security of all equipment
- Evening and weekend work, travel with football
- Coordinate all football equipment transportation for away games
