The Director of Recruiting is responsible for the development, execution, and continuous improvement of a comprehensive, data-informed recruiting strategy that drives enrollment growth and enhances the college’s market presence. This role focuses on expanding recruitment efforts across diverse student populations, including traditional, non-traditional, and underserved communities. The Director will proactively develop, cultivate, and maintain relationships with local, regional, and statewide partners, including K-12 school systems, community-based organizations, businesses/industry, military, and adult learners to promote new and existing educational pathways, programs and services offered at Bossier Parish Community College. The Director will interface with multiple offices, including Marketing, Admissions, Financial Aid, Advising, Academic Affairs and Workforce Solutions, to develop targeted strategies that attract students, strengthen enrollment pipelines, and create seamless pathways to postsecondary education. The Director of Recruiting plays an integral role in the execution of the Strategic Enrollment Management plan.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (higher education, business, marketing, sales, communications, or a related discipline.)
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in student recruitment, enrollment management, sales, marketing, or a related field with at least three (3) years in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing strategic recruitment plans that drive enrollment growth.
- Exemplary relationship-building skills with both internal and external constituents.
- Strong knowledge of market trends, data analytics, and societal trends in student recruitment and enrollment.
- Ability to cultivate relationships with diverse stakeholders including school administrators, business leaders, and community partners.
- Excellent communication, public speaking, relationship building, organizational and planning skills.
- Clear communicator and effective decision-maker.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and assess return on investment in recruitment efforts.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to travel extensively throughout the region and occasionally throughout the State.
- Must have use of sensory skills to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public using the telephone and personal contact as normally defined by the ability to see, read, talk, hear and handle or feel objects and controls.
- Must have physical capability to effectively use and operate various items of office equipment such as, but not limited to, personal computer, calculator, copier, and fax machine.

- Develop and implement data-driven recruitment strategies to identify high-impact enrollment opportunities.
- Strengthen partnerships with K-12 school districts, home school associations, workforce agencies, business and industry leaders, and community organizations to create recruitment pipelines.
- Build relationships with key external stakeholders to enhance organizational influence and lead to enrollment growth in pathways aligned to the Strategic Enrollment Management Plan.
- Increase matriculation to BPCC from underrepresented high schools, economically disadvantaged communities, and first-generation college populations to support enrollment goals.
- Leverage digital and social media marketing strategies in collaboration with the Marketing department to enhance visibility and engagement.
- Coordinate recruitment events, on-campus visits and targeted outreach initiatives that align with enrollment goals.
- Improve leave conversion rates by working closely with Admissions, Financial Aid, and Advising to streamline processes, reduce barriers, and enhance prospective student engagement.
- Collaborate with Deans and Program Directors when there are opportunities to promote intentional non-credit pathways with external partners.
- Manage and coordinate pipeline events and activities that build brand awareness of programs and services.
- Develop and manage an annual recruitment budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to maximize impact.
- Evaluate recruitment and enrollment data regularly, making strategic adjustments to optimize outreach efforts.
- Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, setting measurable goals and training key performance indicators.
- Serve as a key liaison with faculty and academic departments to ensure recruitment efforts align with program offerings and industry demands.
- Represent the college at regional, state, and national conferences and events to promote enrollment initiatives and share best practices.
