The mission of the Louisiana Veterans Homes is to primarily serve the Veterans' population of Louisiana through the provision of medical, restorative, and rehabilitative services in an atmosphere of respect and compassion. This position is located in the Dietary Department of the Northwest LA Veterans Home in Bossier City, Louisiana.

FOOD SERVICE SPECIALIST 2: $10.70/HR $2.00 PREMIUM PAY PER HOUR WORKED.

Measures and assembles ingredients.
Washes dishes and pots.
Performs duties that involve the cleaning and sanitation of the food service area.
Prepares trays and special formulas for special diets.
Gathers materials necessary for dough making.
Assists in mixing, kneading, and preparing breads, rolls, biscuits, cakes, etc.
