Minimum Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Possession of a current Louisiana license to practice professional engineering or professional architecture plus seven years of experience as a licensed engineer or architect.
Note
Applications will be accepted from persons licensed to practice professional engineering or professional architecture in states other than Louisiana. Directs, coordinates and prioritizes the pre-design, design and construction activities of his/her group of project managers and assigns work to the project managers in his/her group.
Monitors the work of the project managers in his/her group and tracks the progress of projects through the review process.
Communicates the progress of schedules, assignments, and activities to the Director and Assistant Director as they pertain to his/her group.
Determines whether project designs comply with the capital outlay act and the capital outlay request.
Assists user agencies with the development of design programs and capital outlay budgets.
Assists user agencies in addressing deferred maintenance problems and the development of preventive maintenance programs.
