Northshore Charter School for children with Dyslexia seeks highly motivated Elementary Math and Science Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. Math classes contain approximately 17 students per class.
Requirements : Requirements
- A strong desire to receive rigorous, ongoing professional training to deeply understand dyslexia and the effect of dyslexia on academic life
- An open-minded attitude toward academic instruction, including a willingness to “work outside the box” of traditional instructional methods
- A willingness to receive and implement feedback regarding instructional practices
- Evidence of strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Willingness to participate in highly collaborative lesson planning and teaching situations
- Evidence of individualized, interactive teaching philosophy
- Highly preferred : Experience with special education
