Overview
The Louisiana Meat Store, a small family-owned cash-n-carry, is looking to add a customer service representative to our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional and professional customer support and ensuring a positive experience. Your ability to communicate effectively and handle inquiries will be crucial in maintaining our reputation for outstanding service.

Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues via phone, email, and in person.
- Utilize strong etiquette to communicate clearly and professionally with customers.
- Assist customers with product information, order processing, and troubleshooting.
- Analyze customer needs and offer appropriate solutions or products to enhance their experience.
- Maintain accurate records of customer transactions in our computerized system.
- Collaborate with team members to improve client services and streamline processes.
- Support sales initiatives by identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling products.
- Stocking and labeling products accurately and for high visual appeal.
- Assisting customers with their transactions.
- Maintaining the store's appearance and cleanliness.
Qualifications
- Must have held a previous job for at least 1 year!
- 1 year of proven experience in customer service or client support roles is preferred.
- Strong etiquette and communication skills are essential.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, enabling effective communication with a diverse clientele.
- Proficiency in office software applications and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Excellent analytical skills to assess customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
- A positive attitude, patience, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Job hours are Mon-Fri from 7:45am to 4:30pm and Saturdays 7:45am to 12:30pm.
