LRC wireless is based in Lake Charles Louisiana with offices in Baton Rouge, Louisiana as well. This job opening is for Baton Rouge, La as well as surrounding areas.
For over 75 years LRC Wireless has been handling applications of wireless communications including sales service and warranty services , two-way radio systems, design and construction of wireless computer networks, antenna systems, tower sales service and erection, fiber optics voice and data installation LRC wireless prides itself on 75 years of top rate service.
Louisiana Radio Communications is looking for Technicians with experience in the Audio Video Industry.
Technicians must be able to pass a national criminal background check, have a valid driver’s license and pass a drug screen.
Job Description:
Installation of Hi-Tech Security Electronics.
Audio Video Systems
*Basic Installations of Fiber and Cat5/6
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
Be able to read and understand design plans to ensure smooth deployment of systems.
- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
2 Year Experience in the Audio Video industry.
Current License with the Louisiana Department of Labor in Commercial Fire, Access Control and CCTV Audio Video installation.
Must have Valid Drivers license
Must pass drug and background tests.
Typical Hours are Monday - Friday 7am - 5pm.
Additional Weekend Overtime hours available.
- PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Requires walking, standing, stooping, climbing ladders, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.
- ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Must be able to stand, walk, use hands and arms to handle and maneuver hand tools.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively throughout the shift. Must have access to transportation in order to travel to each job site.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience Terminating Cat5/6
Experience in Control 4 / Crestron applicaitons
Experience terminating and testing half inch coax
Experience with testing software
Be able to work with other technicians in a professional and respectful manner
Experience with Microsoft Office.
Be able to travel
This is a Long Term Career in a fast paced environment.
This Job will have day to day operations out of Baton Rouge, La but have some light travel.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
