As a member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests.
Job Description
We are looking for individuals who possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities will include setting tables, taking food and beverage orders, serving food orders accurately and efficiently, and ensuring our guests have a high-quality dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and take food and beverage orders
- Accurately input orders into a POS system
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables rapidly and accurately
- Act as the contact point between Front of the House and Back of the House staff
- Communicate food orders to chefs, paying attention to priorities and special requests
- Remove dirty dishes and utensils
- Answer guests' questions about ingredients and menu items
- Inform restaurant staff about customers' feedback or requests
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you should have previous experience in the restaurant industry, although it is not required. You must also understand hygiene and food safety rules, possess physical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays and stand for long hours, and be available to work various shifts, including weekends. Good oral communication skills and the ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced work environment are also essential.
