Summary:
We are looking for a back waiter, food runner, and polisher to join our talented team at Tchefuncte’s. This position is ideal for individuals with experience in fine dining restaurants who possess strong leadership, communication, and multitasking skills. This role is essential for ensuring prompt food service, creating a positive dining experience, and providing timely and accurate service while supporting the front-of-house team.
Job Duties:
- Support service team with ongoing table and floor maintenance, ensuring that the orders are correct and delivered to the appropriate tables; including, but not limited to: water service, clearing and cleaning tables, and resetting tables with proper tableware.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen staff and servers to streamline service and address any special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Respond appropriately to any guest requests or issues by communicating effectively with the proper server or management.
- Familiarize yourself with the menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation styles, to answer customer inquiries.
- Support team members in the completion of their duties to ensure the satisfaction of all guests before, during, and after service.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring food handling and cleanliness standards are met.
- Polish silverware and glassware to be free of fingerprints and soap residue.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
