The School of Interior Design in the College of Art and Design at Louisiana State University invites applications for a full-time non-tenure track position as Assistant or Associate Professor of Practice. The appointment will be effective August 2025.
A successful candidate is expected to develop and teach innovative design studios, core courses that integrate design with specialized knowledge, and / or electives enriched by the candidate's area of expertise. The typical teaching load includes one 6 credit hour design studio and two 3 credit hour core courses or electives each semester.
Minimum Qualifications
- Terminal degree in Interior Design or a closely related field. Strong record of professional practice and teaching experience in the discipline.
