Job Description :
30% Receives and processes transcript requests and other information requests.
- Verify enrollment verification and provide documents to 3rd parties based upon the student's request.
Maintains files, schedules conferences and meetings, prepares departmental reports. processes purchasing requests. Takes meeting minutes, and revises office administrative procedures / policies and updates procedure manuals.
Respond to student clearinghouse request as to student information verification.
Process Student Clearinghouse reporting of enrollment and the degrees awarded.
30% Coordinates updates to the semester course schedule which includes sections, instructors, coding, and room availability as well as the academic catalog maintenance.
Inputs refund dates and percentages in the alternate refund calendars.
Prepares the university classroom utilization.
Responsible for course pre-requisites verification and changes as informed from the deans and courses and curriculum committee approvals.
Main point of contact for Workday curriculum editing for course and degree planner rules.
5% Fee waivers for the Patriot Scholarship and Title 29 are processed by corresponding with financial aid.
Serves as VA SCO in processing and approving student VA benefits in Enrollment Manager
Coordinate and track academic appeals.
Process subpoenas.
Does enrollment verification for student loans, financial assistance, and student car insurance
10% Provide excellent customer service to the campus community for phone, email,
and in-person communications. Guides guests and new students with the
admissions and registration processes as well as connects them to other campus
resources / constituents.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor
15% Has commencement duties for spring and fall as to communications with students and ordering of diplomas and diploma covers.
Provide support for the graduation process by obtaining degree audits, graduation diplomas and
covers, and certificates. Submit graduation lists to deans for their review and approval. Upon the
posting of final grades, inform the deans of those students who do not qualify for graduation.
Minimum Qualifications : Associates Degree or 5 years as an administrative assistant or clerical duties.
