The Associate Director of Player Personnel assists with the development and implementation of all aspects of player personnel and individual player development in the football program.
60% Assist in organizing and maintaining accurate records of preliminary research data on prospective recruits; preparing detailed research outlines of high profile prospective recruits for each position group in the national and regional recruiting areas; assisting coaching staff in identifying and developing data on key prospective recruits; provide pertinent data for the departmental database designed to monitor and track prospective recruits throughout the recruiting process; assist coaches and administrative staff in developing and executing recruiting weekend events; assist with the coaching staff and prospects and their families during official and unofficial visits and Junior days; assist with recruits on game days; oversee evaluations and preliminary scholarship offer documents. Work with compliance and academic support staff members to ensure prospective recruits documentation is accurate and complete; assist with the system of cataloging, editing and digitizing videos, tapes and other recruiting media; develop and integrate evaluation system designed to measure current player development and program effectiveness, through assessing videos (pre-view highlight, games and evaluations) in conjunction with head coach and assisting coaching staff.
35% Implement, organize and maintain processes for scouting and player evaluations within the organization. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: current roster evaluations, transfer portal prospects, opponent roster evaluations and reports. Ensure that all records and scouting content is accurate and up to date in the database on a weekly basis.
5% Advances and supports LSU and Athletics Department core values through personal participation in educational and developmental opportunities, as well as participation in the creation of a respectful culture consistent with the values of LSU and its Athletics Department; Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with three years of experience in a collegiate football setting; Knowledge of Windows based computer programs. LSU values skills, experience, and expertise. Candidates who have relevant experience in key job responsibilities are encouraged to apply— a degree is not required as long as the candidate meets the required years of experience specified in the job description.

Ability to work extended days and weekends. Travel is required.
