Job Description :
The incumbent in this faculty position will have a part-time teaching load of undergraduate and / or graduate courses in the subject of electrical and computer engineering and a part-time research appointment. She / he is expected to demonstrate a commitment to teaching courses in electrical and computer engineering and to build / maintain a strong research program through independent and collaborative work.
45% Teach undergraduate and graduate electrical and computer engineering courses.
45% Lead a recognized and sustainable research program, which results in procuring external funding and leads to publications in peer-reviewed journals, along with associated service in support of the research mission and reputation of the unit. Supervise graduate student research.
10% Provide service to LSU, the electrical and computer engineering profession, and the community.
Minimum Qualifications :
Earned PhD or equivalent from an accredited institution in Electrical & Computer Engineering or closely related discipline.
