Job Description :
Pennington Biomedical Research Center, a world-renowned academic research institute of Louisiana State University, is seeking a Software Developer in the Clinical Data Management Core.
The Software Developer in the Clinical Data Management Core will provide programming and data collection support for research trials. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions to facilitate data acquisition, processing, and analysis for ongoing and future studies. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to advancing scientific research through innovative software development.
Major Responsibilities
- Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Develop flowcharts, mockups, and documentation to identify requirements and solutions.
- Write well-designed, testable code.
- Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures.
- Document and maintain software functionality.
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems.
- Test code created by other team members.
- Assist with data curation - collecting and organizing research trial data.
- Perform related duties as required.
