Job Description:
The Studio Support Coordinator assists with day-to-day activities of the College of Engineering student programs.
50% Coordinate the day-to-day operations of and serve as main point of contact for -30 student workers in the Chevron Center for Engineering Education, including student worker schedules, training, equipment maintenance and operation, and basic troubleshooting of technical issues with specialty printers and scanners, specifically 2 card readers, a flatbed scanner, 30 computer workstations, an FDM 3D printer, an SLA 3D printer, a portable 3 D Scanner, and a desktop 3D scanner.
20% Assist with student services team to execute summer programs, which include residential summer camps (XCITE and REHAMS)
20% Coordinate planning and execution of Center-specific teaching and learning initiatives including the creation of pedagogical video resources, workshops, and seminars.
5% Assists with data collection and program assessments, maintaining program documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
5% Assist with outreach events, commencement, and other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree. Two to five years of experience coordinating student programs at an institute of higher education; K-12 or university teaching experience; exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Minor Contact - This position and/or position's responsibilities require work directly with minors. Finger printing and National Sex Offender Registry check required per FASOP HR-04.
FERPA - As with all LSU employees, due to this position title and/or responsibilities, this position has an obligation to assist students in the acquisition of necessary services. Should a student appear in need of or seek assistance with issues of an emotional, behavioral, or mental health related matter they should be referred to the proper service within the Student Health Center. In situations where the student creates an impression that they are a danger to themselves or others, the advisor should immediately contact the Care Team, the Dean of Students or the appropriate law enforcement agency. The employee outside of those rights contained within FERPA should create no impression of client or patient confidentiality.
