Louisiana Tech University is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join the Division of Finance/Office of the Comptroller as a Budget Analyst. The position performs a variety of duties for the Division of Finance. Duties include completing supporting the Budget Office throughout the budget planning process, budget implementation, and monitoring throughout the year as well as daily budget responsibilities; providing assistance and training to campus departments; and completing various financial reports, reconciliations, and analyses.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor- €™s Degree
- High level of skill with Microsoft Excel
- 1-3 years related experience
- Ability to multitask and work independently to complete assigned responsibilities timely and accurately
- Ability to provide excellent verbal and written communication
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor- €™s Degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experience working with an ERP system or complex financial system
- Experience working in a Higher Education setting
