Louisiana Tech University seeks a visionary, collaborative leader for the Division of Nursing. This position requires a candidate with strong leadership and administrative skills to lead a team of 13 full-time faculty in a division within the College of Applied and Natural Sciences. The Division of Nursing offers the Associate of Science in Nursing and RN-BSN programs. This is a 12-month, administrative, tenure-track position.
RESPONSIBILITIES: €¢ Provide strategic leadership and manage day-to-day operations of the Division, including budget planning, faculty assignments and evaluations, and departmental policies. €¢ Foster a supportive, collaborative environment for students, faculty, and staff. €¢ Direct and participate in the teaching and advising functions of the department. €¢ Facilitate curriculum reviews to maintain current programs and their alignment with accreditation standards. €¢ Oversee the allocation of resources to efficiently meet academic and strategic goals. €¢ Facilitate scholarly activities that foster deeper engagement of faculty and students. €¢ Support faculty development and innovative opportunities that include multidisciplinary collaboration. €¢ Promote excellence in innovative teaching to ensure high-quality instruction and continuous improvement. €¢ Create and maintain strong relationships with alumni, clinical partners, regulatory agencies, and other external stakeholders. €¢ Represent the Division across the University and broader community through recruitment, service, and collaboration with external stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS:
€¢ Doctoral degree (PhD, EdD, DNP, DNS) in Nursing or related field and Master of Science in Nursing.
€¢ Current and unencumbered RN license in Louisiana or eligibility to obtain licensure in LA.
€¢ Earned tenure with distinguished record of scholarship, teaching, and service.
€¢ Academic leadership and clinical experience.
€¢ Strong communication, interpersonal, technology, and organizational skills.
