Louisiana Tech University invites applications for a lecturer position in Chemistry. The main instructional responsibilities for this position will be General Chemistry, with experience teaching Organic or Physical chemistry lectures or labs a plus. The position may include setting up and teaching labs in the candidate€™s area of expertise, including maintenance and care of laboratory instrumentation and equipment. Supervision of undergraduate Capstone research students is expected.

Lecturer candidates must have an earned doctorate in chemistry or a closely related field. The successful candidate will possess excellent written and oral communication skills, have strong teaching skills, display a commitment to high-quality professional service, and will actively participate in program and college responsibilities, including service on committees and directing undergraduate research.
