Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasonographer to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Perform ultrasound examinations on patients, ensuring high-quality images are obtained for diagnostic purposes.
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to accurately assess and interpret ultrasound results.
- Maintain aseptic technique during procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns they may have.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss findings and contribute to patient care decisions.
- Keep detailed records of ultrasound procedures and patient interactions, adhering to medical terminology standards.
- Stay updated on advancements in sonography techniques and technologies to enhance service delivery.
Qualifications
- Experience in performing Echo, Carotid, Arterial, Venous, Venous Reflux and Abdominal Ultrasound is required.
- Proven experience in medical imaging, specifically in sonography.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to ultrasound practices.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations.
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and safety protocols within a clinical environment.
- Certification or licensure as required by state regulations for ultrasonographers.

Pay: $36.00 - $45.00 per hour
