Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join our healthcare team. The CNA will provide essential care and support to residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being in accordance with facility policies and state regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide mobility assistance, including transferring and repositioning residents.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as necessary.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
- Observe residents and report any changes in health or behavior to the nursing staff.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of resident living spaces.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
- Assist with documentation and maintain accurate records of care provided.
- Follow all facility policies, procedures, and state/federal regulations.
Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Nurse Aide (CNA) in the state of Nebraska.
- Ability to lift and move residents safely.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
- Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations.
