Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate charge nurse (RN or LPN) to join our skilled nursing team. This role is responsible for supervising nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care, and maintaining compliance with all healthcare regulations. The charge nurse will play a critical leadership role in coordinating resident care and promoting a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily nursing operations to ensure residents receive exceptional care.
- Provide guidance to nursing staff, including CNAs and other healthcare personnel.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor resident conditions, assess health status, and document changes in medical records.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local healthcare regulations.
- Respond to emergency situations and provide appropriate interventions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all nursing services provided.
- Promote a safe and supportive environment for both residents and staff.
Qualifications:
- Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Nebraska.
- Certifications: CPR/BLS certification required.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
