Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate charge nurse (RN or LPN) to join our skilled nursing team. This role is responsible for supervising nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care, and maintaining compliance with all healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily nursing operations to ensure residents receive exceptional care
- Provide guidance to nursing staff, including CNAs and other healthcare personnel
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor resident conditions, assess health status, and document changes in medical records
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local healthcare regulations
- Respond to emergency situations and provide appropriate interventions
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all nursing services provided
- Promote a safe and supportive environment for both residents and staff
Qualifications
- Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Nebraska
- Certifications: CPR/BLS certification required
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
