Description:
Louisville Endodontics is seeking a Practice Manager who has overall responsibility for managing the practice. This includes operational efficiencies (staffing, scheduling, etc.), financial performance, managing referral relationships, and people management.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide strong leadership to build a positive, supportive, and motivated team culture.
- Ensure excellence in patient, employee, and physician satisfaction.
- Oversee all practice operations.
- Disseminate and enforce policies and procedures.
- Develop staffing schedules that align with practice needs and patient demand.
- Possess expert level knowledge of the Practice Management system.
- Collaborate with the HR department on functions including hiring new employees, progressive discipline, performance reviews, and terminating employees.
- Train and coach staff with support from the Regional Director and HR.
- Ensure proper use of office equipment by designated personnel.
- Responsible for practice inventory; working with procurement team as needed, ordering supplies, and managing inventory.
- Assist in developing the annual budget.
- Approve invoices for payment.
- Assist credentialing department in obtaining physician signatures or documentation as needed.
- Assist Revenue Cycle department to ensure maximized reimbursement is achieved.
- Promote the practice's physician and brand.
- Attend scheduled manager’s meetings.
- Maintain physical appearance and organization of the office.
- Coordinate regular staff meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 3 years of dental experience/knowledge; or combination of education and experience
- 2 years of practice management experience is preferred
- College degree from a four-year college or university is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, and Power Point) is required
- Practice Management Software experience (ex. EndoVision)
