Job Title: Finance Specialist
Salary Range: $82,000 to $95,000 annually
Administration Hours: 40 hours a week Monday-Friday

The Louisville Fire Protection District (LFPD) is comprised of three (3) fire stations located in Louisville, CO in beautiful Boulder County. LFPD is seeking candidates for a Finance Specialist to perform various accounting and finance-related duties, including accounts payable and receivables, taxes, returns and reports, and bank reconciliations. This position is responsible for administration for the District Board, month and year-end accounting close processes, annual financial audits, budget preparation, preparation and distribution of 1099s. Manages the volunteer pension plan. Provides back-up to payroll and other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or related field and four years experience in accounting, highly organized, communicates effectively and excellent customer service skills. Knowledge and experience in the following software programs: QuickBooks, Paycom (or similar payroll platform), Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of Special Districts and/or Fire Department is highly desirable.
