Louisville Handyman & Remodeling is looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead our Field Operations team. In this role, you’ll oversee field operations, manage craftsmen, and ensure top-tier craftsmanship and efficiency. What You’ll Do:
- Lead & Develop the Team – Directly oversee craftsmen, providing training and mentorship to drive capability and performance.
- Deliver projects that create raving fans – Supervise team members in delivering excellent outcomes on time, within budget and to our high standards. Create great relationships with our customers by delivering an uncommon level of service and warm personal care that bring them back for their next project – and have them referring friends and family to us.
- Ensure Quality & Compliance – Manage projects to scope of estimates (and with change orders when scope expands), verify work quality, and uphold safety standards across all projects. Craft weekly communications to customers to ensure alignment on project progress.
- Optimize Operations – Identify inefficiencies, implement improvements, and keep projects running smoothly and profitably.
- Assign Craftsmen Strategically – Match the right craftsmen to the right jobs, ensuring top-quality results.
- Support Billing & Sales – Work closely with accounting, office staff, and sales team to streamline processes and maximize revenue. Estimate labor for future projects and ensure prompt management of change orders.
- Recruit & Retain Top Talent – Hire, train, and schedule craftsmen, ensuring a strong and capable workforce.
- Oversee Documentation – Supervise job documentation, ensuring accurate online records (job photos and notes, etc.) to support billing and compliance.
