CHARACTERISITICS OF THE WORK Under general supervision, performs a variety of skilled facility maintenance and repair work at all Family Health Centers (FHC) facility sites.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
EXAMPLES OF THE WORK (These statements are intended to be illustrations of the work of this class.) Maintains, repairs, and replaces plumbing systems and fixtures, such as faucets, drinking fountains, water heaters, water closets, urinals, water regulators, and pressure valves.Monitors and maintains boilers and generators.Maintains, repairs, and/or replaces electrical systems, including light switches, outlets, interior and exterior light fixtures, electrical panels and light bulbs.Installs and repairs door lock sets and padlocks, and cuts keys.Performs minor carpentry and trim and finish work, including work on walls, doors, windows, cabinets, shelving, and furniture.Paints or stains interiors, exteriors, and furniture of various materials.Performs welding, masonry, flooring, and general repair work on buildings and furniture.Ensures the proper disposal of biohazardous waste.Operates heavy equipment as needed.Performs custodial and/or grounds keeping duties as needed.Performs related work.
