ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Drives trucks and routes daily work orders to install all street signs and markings
Maintains daily work log and assists operator II"s with work assignmentsUNDER GENERAL SUPERVISION
Installs street signs
Paints stop bars, crosswalks, and bar walk areas and islands
Performs street grid work in assigned sections of the city
Paints and straightens posts and signs
Performs related workHigh school diploma or the equivalent
WORK EXPERIENCE
Six months of experience operating a paint machine or similar equipment
EQUIVALENCY
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted
OTHER MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
Meets regular and punctual attendance standards and any special needs of the position as determined by management, including mandatory overtime and performing related workEOE
