Role Description
Louisville Title is seeking a detail-oriented Escrow Processor to join our dynamic team in the Title Insurance services sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the processing of title insurance, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and providing exceptional service to clients throughout the title insurance process. This role requires a strong understanding of residential real estate escrow procedures, underwriting processes, and the importance of customer service.
Responsibilities
- Process title insurance efficiently and accurately while adhering to company policies and regulatory guidelines
- Oversees the escrow process from beginning to end, including coordinating with all parties involved in the transaction (buyers, sellers, lenders, real estate agents, etc.) to ensure a smooth closing process
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise during the escrow processing phase
- Reviews Title Commitment for closing and clear outstanding issues by contacting necessary parties
- Collects and maintains all necessary documentation and funds for the transaction, including purchase agreements, deeds, title reports, HOA fees and closing statements
- Sends detailed closing instructions to all parties (Settlement statement/HUD; documentation needed for closing)
- Follows procedure guidelines to ensure escrow process is consistent, accurate and compliant with all laws and regulations
Experience
- Previous experience in title insurance, escrow processing or financial services or a related field is required
- Familiarity with escrow procedures and underwriting practices is highly desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Professional demeanor and customer service attitude with the ability to remain optimistic under any client circumstances
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Quickly adapts to changing circumstances, shifting priorities, and unexpected challenges
- Knowledge of escrow and title industry practices and regulations
- Escrow software experience (RamQuest, Qualia, Close Simple, etc.) will make you a leading candidate
