Experienced Restaurant Owners Seeking Dynamic General Manager
We are looking for a polished, professional, and confident General Manager to lead our full-service restaurant. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in guest-facing environments and understands the value of genuine hospitality. A warm, upbeat demeanor paired with a strong background in service is essential.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in forecasting, training both staff and management, and overseeing all operational aspects of a high-volume restaurant. Nightlife experience is highly preferred. As General Manager, you will be responsible for driving the overall success of the restaurant—ensuring seamless operations, strong team performance, and an exceptional guest experience every time.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of service professionals to ensure that guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met and continue growing our business
- Manages in compliance with all local, state and Federal beverage and liquor laws
- Understands beverage control including days on hand, perpetual inventory, bar pars, portion control, costs controls, beverage potentials, mix of sales analysis for beverage, issue & returns, food standards, and period end inventory.
- Monitors adherence to all liquor control policies and procedures.
- Maintains food handling and sanitation standards.
- Trains staff on liquor control policies and procedures.
- Emphasizes guest satisfaction during all departmental meetings and focuses on continuous improvement.
- Ensures employees understand expectations and parameters.
- Interacts with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels
- Responds effectively to guest problems and complaints.
- Active and savvy social media presence
Requirements are:
· 5 years of experience as a restaurant manager in a high-volume bar/restaurant environment
· Strong understanding of food and beverage operations, including cost controls, inventory management, and staff management.
· Passion for craft food and cocktails.
· Excellent multitasking abilities and problem-solving skills.
· Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
· Ability to adapt to and thrive within the company's culture.
· Nightlife experience is strongly preferred.
