Under the direction of the Director of Imaging Services and Radiologists, performs Radiology and CT procedures at a level not requiring constant supervision. Performs a variety of procedures that require independent judgement, ingenuity and initiative. Performs all post processing duties, prepares and administers contrast media, performs fluoroscopic procedures and may assist in special procedures as required. Maintains orderliness and cleanliness to insure aseptic conditions. Responsible for producing, accessing, and evaluating images and related data used by physicians to render a medical diagnosis of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Responsible for providing a safe environment for patients, visitors and staff. Follows rules, policies, procedures, applicable laws and standards.
Essential Functions
- Perform Radiographic Procedures.
- Perform all paperwork associated with the Diagnostic Imaging department.
- Follow all radiology policies and procedures.
- Exemplify Team Dynamics.
- Demonstrate a knowledge and willingness to perform continuous Quality Improvement Functions.
- Maintain a high standard of excellence and professionalism in job responsibilities whether pleasant or
unpleasant. - Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the population and specific
needs of patients served.
Qualifications and requirements
- AA Degree; 6 months or more RT experience, BLS, ARRT RT (R)(CT) and Current Washington State Licensure.
- Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the population of patients served in Diagnostic Imaging.
- Preferred one year or more experience.
- Registered Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or Registry eligible. Current BLS
- Required Registration/license as required by Washington State
- Bilingual and/or English-Spanish speaking preferred. Ability to work with culturally diverse population.
