Loureiro Engineering Associates has an immediate need for Senior Project Manager – Mechanical to join our Facility Engineering Division in Plainville, Connecticut, or our Portsmouth, New Hampshire location. The Senior Project Manager will lead a team of MEP engineers and designers with a passion to enhance the built environment and the lives of those within it. The ideal candidate is a natural problem-solver, seller-doer, subject matter expert in mechanical engineering, plumbing, and fire protection.
Responsibilities:
- Lead project teams in the preparation of engineering designs, drawings, and specifications for the mechanical engineering, fire protection, and plumbing disciplines.
- Manage overall financial and technical performance of projects through our project lifecycle management system
- Maintain and grow established client relationships by becoming an indispensable partner to our clients, both internal and external
- Serve as the subject matter expert for mechanical engineering, plumbing, and fire protection systems
- Develop cost estimates and manage engineering design and design/build projects from conceptual design through construction.
Qualifications:
- 12 years of experience with an engineering consulting or design firm.
- Licensed Professional Engineer
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Eligible to work without Visa sponsorship
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
- Able to push, pull, and place materials on level surfaces and overhead cabinets.
- Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and terrains.
- Adherence to safety protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment
