Job Responsibilities
- Assists the Controller, and Senior Accountants with routine aspects of transactional accounting processes;
- Inputs accounting and project control data, AP invoices, etc. into accounting systems, spreadsheets, etc.;
- Assists with preparing A/R statements, transactional data entry, and A/R collections when needed;
- Processes vendor invoices and assists with payment processing;
- Assists in the preparation of client billings and maintains billing and accounts payable files;
- Performs other work as apparent or assigned by the leadership of the Finance Group;
- Works safely and abides by the firm’s policies and procedures
- BS / BA in Accounting/Finance or related field
- 0-3 years’ experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- High energy & can-do attitude
- Creative, out of the box approach while advancing initiatives
- Strong attention to detail
- Previous work in accounting data entry is a plus
- Ability to multitask well and work within a team environment
- Strong background in Microsoft platforms
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs
- Ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards
- Able to push, pull, and place materials on level surfaces and overhead cabinets
