Warehouse / Equipment Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage the dispatching and coordination of equipment for warehouse distribution
• Ensure equipment is cleaned and Maintained per a schedule
• Complete daily equipment inspection Audits
• Facilitate and Coordinate Major Repairs
• Data Entry and Administrative Functions
• Daily checks to ensure equipment functions properly and safely
• Transport material in a safe manner in a local area to support the construction of our utility-scale solar project
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions throughout job site safely
• Operate effectively on rough terrain/unpaved surfaces
• Clean, maintain, and conduct basic equipment repairs
• Organize Company warehouse
• Recognize hazards and danger zones
• Ensure equipment is safely and securely stored when not in use
• Coordinate with crew members in response to hand and/or audio signals
• Plan the route which the vehicle would need to take
• Previous experience in equipment management or related field preferred
• Proficiency in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment

Qualifications:

• Thorough knowledge of equipment and safety processes used in large construction sites
• Understand logistics and traffic control plans
• Demonstrates initiative, accountability, and leadership within the team
• Ability to perform heavy lifting, pushing, pulling of material weighing 50 lbs
• Knowledge of equipment maintenance and storage
• Ability to squat, crawl and work in awkward positions and confined spaces
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Unrestricted use of hands, arms, shoulders, upper/lower back, visual acuity, depth and color perception
• Self-motivated
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment
• Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
• OSHA 10 (Preferred)
• CDL License (Required)

Willingness to travel:

• 50% (Preferred)
