What are the responsibilities and job description for the Childcare Provider position at Love and Bright Beginnings Childcare?
Hiring in both of our locations both located in Monroeville.
Infant, Young Toddler, Older Toddler, school age (before and after care)
Shifts available: 6a-3p , 6a-1p, 7:30a-4:30p, 9a-5:30p, 12:30-5:30p
*HIRING HEADSTART TEACHER 6a-3:30p or 8a-4p Classes start 8/26(MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF AN ASSOCIATE'S DEGREE)
Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
- Supervise and engage children in play and learning activities
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians
- Ensure the well-being and safety of all children at all times
- Follow established routines and schedules
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Change diapers and assist with toilet training as needed
- Monitor and address any behavioral issues or concerns
- Work closely with our partners creating a healthy and successful relationship for the students and overall business.
Skills:
- 2 years of childcare experience, CDA, associates degree in ECE or a related field or higher is preferred
- Experience working with children of various ages, including infants, toddlers and preschoolers
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- First aid certification/CPR is a plus
- Classroom management skills are beneficial
